for those of you who watch FMA, you will know, or should, what this is right off the bat. but for those of you who dont, this is a "transmutation array." since it isnt really a circle with the alchemic signs drawn in, its called an array.

anyway. ive wanted to do this pic since i first saw it. the trouble was trying to find screenshots and whatnot to use as references because im a perfection fanatic and wanted it to be as close to the real deal as possible. i couldnt not, however, find decent screenshots. they were all either way too blurry to distingush anything or at a completly wierd angle or just totally messed up beyond recognition. so i had to settle down on one pic that was no larger than 130x125 pixels. i used it as a guide for the basics of the design but i was not able to get anyfarther than that without changing it some. i used some artistic license on the upper middle and lower middle sections because those were the oddest... it still isnt completely like the real one, but ive already done this one so am not complaining.. well too much X3

k the reason this is called the "6-point" is because this is the design of the array before Edward changed it to fit a seventh 'incomplete philosopher stone container' (for lack of better words). Tucker had described it as a heptagon(7 points) circumscribed in the array. does anyone find something odd about that statement? circumscribed(a circle drawn on the outside) 'in'.. or did he say 'on'.. well anyway, still. i had to pause and watch that part again to make sure i heard him right... my mind seems to pick up on the incorrect portions more than anything else...

for the next one it is going to be the 7-point array. again i couldnt find a single good screenshot so had to seetle for something more... simple. i had recorded that episode for went to the part with all the different angles of the array and, belive it or not, used my camera to take a photo of the tv screen when it progressed to the array(if i had paused it it would have been blurry). so yeah... XD told you it was simple
